MICHELLE PHAN PRIVATE TEA SESSION!

Serene & I headed to Ion Orchard to meetup with the amazing MICHELLE PHAN! Initially we wanted to catch her showcase but just look at the crowd at Sephora! It was MADNESS. We ended up going to Soup Spoon first since we had an hour to spare.
(Note: photos were taken with handphone cameras, hence the poor quality /: )
Serene could barely see her even though she was in heels, i was lucky to catch a glimpse of her walking in hahah. LUCKILY, Serene won a private tea session (there were 4 other winners) & they were allowed to bring 1 friend along. And yes, SHE BROUGHT ME!
This is madness okay i can't even. We went the Salt Grill & Sky Bar in Ion where the session was held. I thought they were joking when they told us to head up to the 55th floor. The lift only took passengers from the 4th to 55th & vice versa. COOL OR WHAT.
(Okay i sound like some country bumpkin never see lift before hahahah but okay moving on)

Okay, in case ya'll didn't know she's youtube's number 1 makeup guru (yes i watch makeup tutorials hahaha don't judge) . Her videos are very clear & straight-forward, unlike other artists who spends like 5minutes just talking about how their dog/cat was. Her makeup looks are stunning as well, plus with her instructions, they are easy to recreate! Here's one example.

She is such a sweetheart, giving everyone equal attention & answering our questions as well as she can. Initially everyone was kinda shy, loved how she tried breaking the ice by asking us questions like
" If you're stuck on an island & you can only bring one makeup item with you, what would it be?'"

Yep, can't believe it has finally arrived. I could still remember the auditions, photoshoot & recordings like it was just yesterday. Crazy just how quickly time flies.
Sadly i didn't win, but it's all good. BRYAN, JULIANA & JINGREN did an amazing job, they deserved it, & so did everyone who made it this far! I've made amazing friends, can't imagine the whole KSS experience without any of em'. Oh yes, not forgetting the XYZ crew & Intune school! Without them, none of this could happen!
& now my voice can officially 'die'. Had a terrible sore throat for the past few days & today wasn't any better. Good thing i managed to pull through! I might be getting a fever as well lol. psssssh, excuses /:
Don't ever stop singing guys, keep chasing your dreams! We have so much potential, so much to give to the local music scene. With tons of practice & dedication, im sure we'll do so much better in our future performances/competitions to come! See ya'll real soon (:

It's nerve-wrecking, taking my papers again in two months time.
I need to pass. it's no longer a want, it's a need.
Im going to do my very best & get into a course of my choice next year,
tho frankly speaking i've not chosen a 'dream' course. still as confused as ever.
But whatever, I'll just do the best i can.
