My (almost) perfect weekend
My saturday began with my very FIRST musical rehearsal. Started of with dance (which made me realize just how much swag i DON'T have) . Gotta need tons of practise & exercise if i want to keep up with the dance choreography! It's only the first week & already im ACHING ALL OVER.

Singing rehearsal was much better for now, sticking to soprano 1 (a huge relief). Did a little blending & learnt a portion of our song. again ... tons of stuff to do.

I know it sounds boring & all for now but TRUST ME, it gets BETTER!
until you had to ruined it thank you very much.

After what seemed like hell (im exaggerating), i went to watch SUNGHA JUNG & PRESTON REED live in concert @ DBS auditorium!

Before the concert

If you guys didn't know, Sungha's a south Korean guitarist who's SUPER SUPER TALENTED (& adorable) whereas Preston (who was just as amazing) is also a guitarist from USA but currently lives in Scotland. Just being there, listening to them perform was a huge privilege, they have inspired me to try & improve on my skills. Looks like im will need a couple more decades /:

Of course, there was an autograph session ..

SUNGHA JUNG!

There were tons of girls younger than me just squealing away while waiting their turn. Luckily i managed to get his autograph & photo really quickly. He was an absolute sweetheart :')

It's so surreal just watching him on youtube the night before & then seeing him in person. He's just crazy talented & it was worth the money to get those tickets. (& now im really broke haha)

 Sungha's Autograph!

Preston's autograph (im surprised he spelt my name correctly, you know, without the 'e')

MOVING ON TO SUNDAY.

Woke up with terrible muscle aches, could barely get out of bed but i had to, it was the finals of project dream. stage! Headed to The substation earlier for soundcheck.

Managed to get 3rd place & won the 'most outstanding performer' award.
No medals or anything like that haha, but i did win an awesome watch & some watch/necklace thingy that was pretty cool !

Here's my performance, in case you're interested to watch !

Overall this was a pretty cool experience, haven't been in a singing competition for years. Initially i was pretty upset about how badly i did but hey, there's always room for improvement yes? Hopefully i can do better next timr.

Now it's time to focus on the musical & of course, O levels.
No distractions whatsoever.

I really should be sleeping now. it's 3AM already.

It was all just a figment of my imagination.
